Be the energy you want to attract: Stay Positive

When health is discussed, one of the single most important advice we receive from health instructors or from a doctor is to stay positive. Staying positive under any circumstances is very important. Especially when it comes to our body image, we all face body shaming and due to this some of us even undergo a lot of emotional upheavals, but what is most vital is to keep our spirits high, work hard and move forward.
All of this starts with how we perceive ourselves. Having a positive body image is extremely important as this affects how you allow others to perceive you. It does not mean we need to look perfect! It first begins with being comfortable in your skin. This in turn affects our character and our personality. This will help you work harder towards your goal & towards keeping yourself fit and healthy. Start your workout with a positive thought and promise yourself never to give up. 'Slow and steady wins the race' remember?? We should also ensure not to compare ourselves with others and work towards achieving our goal one step at a time.
Loving ourselves will make us happy and increase our self-esteem. Happiness does not cost us anything. This means, to take control of your demotivating thoughts as you see yourself in the mirror. Perfection cannot be achieved by anybody, however we need to accept ourselves the way we are and do what we can, to improve any imperfections by heading to the gym, fitness centers. Discover what is the best activity which can uplift your personality. Being Positive is so contagious that you will soon see its effects of it, not just on yourself but also your family, friends and everyone around you.
If Tensing Norgay had given up to climb the great mount Everest he wouldn’t have been the first!!

Power of positive thinking
Here is a wonderful example to explain the power of positive thinking.
In Psychology and clinical science, there is something called Placebo Effect. What does it mean??
Placebo means - No effect. In Clinical trials when a new medicine is being tested on individuals, they divide them into two groups. One with new medicine and the second group with placebo which is a dummy medicine or medicine with no effect. The second group is not aware they are being given a placebo. Research shows that most of the time placebo group of individuals show more signs of improvement than the first group! Why? Because they believe that the medicine works for them and will make them feel better.
Another important aspect of being optimistic is being critical and accepting criticism in the right spirit. Although we need to understand that while pointing fingers at others, one day we may also become a victim of it. When we criticize, we should understand and have a sense of justice in it. Being empathetic goes hand in hand with being positive. When we ensure not get judgmental, we create a pleasant environment not only within us but also what surrounds us.

Exercising your mind with positive thoughts is more important before we begin to exercise our body. When we begin a task with “I CAN”, your results are always better. I would like to reiterate, that during this process we need to ensure not to compare ourselves with others but to first compete with oneself first. Be a better version of you. This will surely help you achieve not just in keeping yourself fit but in absolutely anything. As my good friend always says, 'even impossible says I M POSSIBLE'.😊
